General Terms & Conditions


Please find below the terms and conditions of Samsara voyages for your reference.
All our tours are governed by these Terms and Conditions.

Reservation

All reservations must be made in writing via our official website, or through one of our email addresses. Your reservation requests will be handled and responded to you within 24 hours. Once a reservation is made, a booking confirmation and invoice will be sent to your appointed email by our sales department. A deposit will be required upon the booking confirmation, and the balance will be settled as per our deposit and payment policies below.

Deposit & Down Payment

All the tour packages on our website and tailor-made tours are operated on a pre-payment basis. A deposit 50% of the total tour price is required upon confirmation of booking a tour. Once we received the minimum amount of 50% from your full payment, we will issue a letter of confirmation. You will have peace of mind for your reservation until 60 days before the departure date. At this point, we require the full payment and once the full payment is made, final tour confirmation and invoice will be sent to your appointed email by our sales department. For peak season from November to March for a tour to be confirmed, 100% payment needs to be made upfront.

If the payments failed to be made on time, your tentative booking can be cancelled from our end, and this will be informed to you via email.

Methods of Payment

We accept major credit card such as Visa, Mastercard, or American Express for credit card payments and we also offer the customer to pay by bank transfer method. All the bank remittances must be received into SAMSARA COLLECTION PVT LTD account.

The payments need to be settled in United State dollars (USD) and the service charge for credit cards will have to be borne by you and if using a bank transfer, bank charges will have to be borne by you.

In the event of any refund, we will return to you by the same way you paid us. All banking fees and/or deductions of any correspondent bank which might occur, will be counted on your expenses.

Refund of Unused Services

No refund will be given for any unused service after the tour has commenced.

Passport and Entry Visa

Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa, and all travel documents are valid for travel.

Travel Insurance

Samsara voyages do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death; and all related Covid-19 matters (if any and where applicable) or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s always are at the client's risk.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

All efforts will be made sincerely to maintain the contract made by our organization with its customers but there are always possibilities of certain Items like, entrance fee at the attractions or drastic increase in fuel costs etc. getting more expensive without any notice from the Government authorities. In such FORCE MAJEUR, the difference in the cost would be borne by the customers.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or even after the commencement of the tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants safety and comfort.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest or any such incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or defaults, or any other causes beyond our control. The company shall not be responsible for any inconveniences resulting out of VISA/ Customs at various airports within and outside and is not liable for any compensation.

Samsara voyages can refuse to accept you or continue dealing with you if we, or another person in authority, believe your behavior (by any form of communication or in person) is disruptive. If you are disruptive on your stay, we can remove you from your accommodation. You will not be entitled to any refund in either case and we will not provide compensation or meet any costs or expenses. If you are disruptive you will be responsible for any damages, costs and expenses (including legal expenses) incurred as a result, including for example cleaning, repairing or replacing property lost, damaged or destroyed by you, compensating any guest, members of staff or agent affected by your actions.

Accommodation

Samsara voyages Tours guarantees agreed accommodation for the tour package selected by the Client. Clients are provided with detailed information beforehand on selected hotels based on their package. Clients are requested to thoroughly research the selected hotels before confirming a booking. Once a booking has been confirmed, we will make reservations at hotels, and these cannot be changed under any circumstance before or after the guest arrives in Sri Lanka. If however, the guest insists on changing a hotel booking, Samsara voyages tours will try our best to arrange another hotel in the selected category; but that cost incurred will have to be undertaken by guests themselves.

Shopping

Samsara voyages never, under any circumstances, recommends or guarantees the value or the quality of any additional product not clearly itemized on the travel voucher and which may be purchased during an itinerary arranged in part or whole by Samsara voyages tours, even in the case where the product may have been discussed between a client and an employee or representative of Samsara voyages tours. Determining the value of a product is entirely the client’s responsibility. Samsara voyages has no duty to intervene in such circumstances. Samsara voyages is not responsible for the quality, functionality, guarantee or warranty of any product you may purchase during your tour.
